Pottermore wins two Webby Awards

The digital heart of the Wizarding World, Pottermore, has won two awards at this year’s Webby Awards, for the Hogwarts Experience, which launched this September. The interactive venture was awarded with The Webby Award in the category of Best Home/Welcome Page, and The Webby’s People’s Voice Award for Technical Achievement.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honouring excellence on the internet, referred to by the New York Times as ‘the internet’s highest honour’. Two awards are given in each category – one chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (The Webby Award), and one chosen by millions of public voters (The Webby Peoples Voice Award).
