Gary Bell QC

Gary Bell has been a barrister, specialising in criminal law, for thirty years and was appointed a QC in 2012. Aside from the bar he has also presented his own programme on BBC One (The Legalizer); been an award winning stand-up comedian (he was Midlands Comedian of the year in 2008); writes for a number of publications (the Mail on Sunday, the Telegraph, the Big Issue, the Guardian and has a column in The Spectator) and is a qualified pilot.

Gary’s first book in a new legal series, BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT, was published by Bloomsbury in 2019 and has since been optioned for a TV drama series by the BBC, as well longlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Gold Dagger Award (2020). The second book in the series, POST MORTEM, was published in January 2021.
