Dan Bowman

Dan’s background is in social media and copywriting, particularly comedy. He ran the socials for Have I Got News For You from 2018 to 2023, and has written on twelve of the last thirteen seasons of the show.

Dan has written three books: FUCK THE TORIES: AN ACTIVITY BOOK, HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU: THE QUIZ OF 2022, and HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU: THE QUIZ OF 2023 On the social media side of things, he has been a senior creative and copywriter for such brands as Channel Four, Amazon Prime Video, Greggs, Pringles, and The United Nations.

In his spare time, Dan is a Lego collector (yes, like the dad from the Lego Movie, minus the superglue), and a keen guitar player. He used to run a lot of half marathons and the occasional marathon for charity, but nowadays prefers sitting down and eating ice cream. Although he works in London, Dan has lived in Stoke-on-Trent his entire life. When he leaves the station, locals wave him off with handkerchiefs and try to pass their babies through the window in hope of a better life.
