Cathy MacDonald

Cathy MacDonald is originally from New Zealand, but spent close to a decade in London working and travelling as a creative and director in the TV and music industries for the BBC, Disney and MTV. Her short films and documentaries have featured at more than 20 international festivals. Following a long stint as a screenwriter for soap opera Shortland Street, she joined a health tech firm in Auckland. She current lives in Auckland, with her two young children and their intimidating ginger tom, Virgil.
