Bana Alabed

Bana, a Syrian girl born in 2009 in Aleppo, is known worldwide for her tweets during the siege of the city in 2016. Her story, DEAR WORLD, was published by Simon and Schuster in 2017, followed by her picture book MY NAME IS BANA in September 2021.
