Zoe Adjonyoh’s West African Food Revolution
Named as the “standard bearer for West African food” by The Observer and as one the capitals hottest chefs by Time Out, Zoe Adjonyoh is on a mission to inspire an African food revolution in the UK. Her cookbook, ZGK, which is published today is full of contemporary recipes from Zoe’s own kitchen and her POP Brixton restaurant.
Zoe is currently bringing her fresh take on West African cuisine to Soho with a six month residency at the Sun and 13 Cantons on Great Pulteney Street and will be featured on Channel Four’s Sunday Brunch on the 30th of April. Her vision of bringing African food to the masses sees her on the panel at this years Bare Lit Festival, and she is a passionate food writer contributing to platforms such as jamieoliver.com.
Her street food stall is a regular fixture at many top British festivals, from the London Foodies Festival to Camp Bestival and beyond. She has established a reputation for sell-out supperclubs, and her recipes for home cooked African dining have been featured in a range of publications including The Guardian, The Telegraph, and Sainsbury’s and Hello Magazine.
