Hello. We are The Blair Partnership.

We’re a full-service agency for clients across fiction, non-fiction, children’s & YA as well as across entertainment, broadcast, speaking and more.

Our people

We’re passionate about storytelling and are hugely proud of all our work. Individually, our people are curious, enterprising, dynamic and down to earth.

Together, we’re a brilliant team who collaborate, learn from each other and have huge respect for each other’s talent & expertise.

With our expertise, influence, connections and infrastructure, we are uniquely able to bring stories to their fullest creative expression.

Our agency is powered by the expertise, energy and dynamism of our people who help our clients’ stories reach the right audience.

We have an exceptional client list thanks to our agents and outstanding in-house teams who specialise in translation rights, finance, legal and business affairs, royalties, brand and product development, HR and talent and administrative support.

Of course, we’re best known for building J.K. Rowling’s world of Harry Potter and for the past ten years, have represented J.K. Rowling’s literary work and helped to shape and grow the Harry Potter franchise.

During the 2020 Covid lockdown, we created the Harry Potter at Home initiative, where celebrities and superfans shared their own love of the stories by each reading a chapter of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone for fans around the world to watch. We also oversaw the online serialisation and publication of J.K. Rowling’s short story, “The Ickabog,” which raised millions of pounds for Covid charities worldwide.

History

Neil Blair founded The Blair Partnership in 2011, with J.K. Rowling as his first client.

Over the years, we’ve worked with a diverse range of clients to shape, grow and nurture their stories and brands.

Our culture and values

Every person in our team plays their part in making sure that our values – partnership, creativity, integrity and expertise – are lived up to in the work we do every day. Respectful and kind, we encourage creativity, are brilliant collaborators and love solving problems together. Brainstorming, innovation and a challenge bring out the best in us.
